Dude Runs Entire Pacific Crest Trail in 51 Days

Dude Runs Entire Pacific Crest Trail in 51 DaysTimothy Olson covered all 2,650 miles of the PCT in a mere 51 days, finishing last week (well, 51 days, 16 hours, and 55 seconds, to be precise). First, Olson ran, and covered 50 miles per day, every day. Because of the ever changing conditions on the PCT, some trails are closed one year and open the next. Olson was forced at least once to be driven around a closed section, though he made up the mileage by backtracking on the trail. The previous FKT was Karel Sabbe’s 52 days, 8 hours, and 25 minutes set in 2016.
